You can access our onboarding process through our website at www.innersight.co.za. On the main page, click on the "Join Us" tab, which will take you to our onboarding infographic showing the complete process flow. From there, you'll find a button that directs you to our secure payment gateway where you can complete your enrollment.
All first-time clients have two options to choose from:
Option 1: Screening blood tests are included in the program fee.
Option 2: Blood tests are excluded from the program fee. In this option, we send the blood tests to the lab, and the lab bills your medical aid directly. If your medical aid short-pays or doesn't pay at all, you will be liable for the lab bill. Many medical aids with savings accounts will pay from your savings account (which is essentially your own money). This option allows you to use your medical aid to fund your blood tests.
Once your online payment is processed, our office automatically receives notification of your enrollment. We will then:
Contact you directly to welcome you to the program
Send you a secure link to open your Health Wallet
Provide access to a questionnaire within your Health Wallet for you to complete
Schedule your initial assessment appointment at our InnerSight clinic
Your initial assessment takes approximately 60 minutes and is performed in-house at our clinic. During this session, we will conduct:
Blood draw
Health metrics measurements (such as blood pressure)
InBody scan
Fitness testing
Strength and mobility assessment
Lung function tests
Important: Please wear comfortable gym or running clothes as you will be exercising and will likely work up a sweat during the fitness assessments.
After your clinic visit, we wait for the lab to process your blood results. Once we receive them, we upload all your data to your Health Wallet, which automatically generates your first comprehensive health report. We will then schedule a feedback session with one of our doctors to review your results.
Your feedback session with one of our doctors typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. During this consultation, we will:
Discuss all your findings and results
Identify areas for improvement
Determine if further investigations or specialist referrals are needed (these are outside the screening process but usually covered by your medical aid)
Set personalized goals and create an action plan tailored to your health needs
Prioritize parameters that need immediate attention based on urgency and timelines
Yes! Around the six-month mark, you can return to the clinic for a mid-year assessment, which is included in your annual program. This includes:
InBody scan
Health metrics measurements
Fitness, strength, and mobility testing
Note: Blood tests are not included in the mid-year assessment. All collected data is stored in your Health Wallet so you can track your progress and trends over time.
At the end of your yearly cycle, you have two options:
Option 1 - Full Program Renewal: Complete the full sign-up process again with all assessments, testing, and consultations included (same as your initial enrollment, with the choice of blood tests included or excluded).
Option 2 - Health Wallet Access Only: Pay a monthly fee to maintain access to your Health Wallet. This option is ideal for those without major health issues who want to continue tracking their progress. With this option, you can:
Keep all your historical health data accessible
Schedule consultations at your convenience (at additional cost)
Request specific blood tests as needed (at your own cost)
Continue adding data to your Health Wallet to track trends over time
Come in for mid-year biometric assessments, fitness testing, InBody scans, and health metrics (at your own cost)
Your Health Wallet stores all your health data over time, allowing you to track trends, see improvements, and monitor any declining parameters. This longitudinal view of your health is essential for understanding how your body responds to lifestyle changes, interventions, and aging. Even if you don't need frequent consultations, maintaining access ensures you never lose your valuable health history.
Yes! Even with the monthly Health Wallet subscription, you're welcome to schedule assessments at your convenience and cost. This includes biometric measurements, fitness assessments, InBody scans, health metrics, and blood tests as needed. All data will be added to your Health Wallet to continue tracking your health trends.
