An InBody scan is a body composition analysis that measures what your weight is actually made up of — muscle, fat, and body water — rather than just giving a single number on a scale. It provides a detailed breakdown that's far more useful for tracking real health and fitness changes than weight alone
The scan provides an objective baseline we can track over time, so any changes from your plan — building muscle, losing fat, or monitoring progress — can be measured accurately rather than guessed. It forms part of our longevity program and consultations, and can also be done to track your results between visits.
The most important thing is consistency. Because the scan measures body water along with muscle and fat, things like hydration, food, and exercise can shift your readings slightly from day to day. To get the most accurate comparison over time, try to do each scan under similar conditions — ideally the same time of day, following a similar routine, and with similar food and hydration beforehand. Keeping these consistent means any change you see reflects a real change in your body composition, rather than normal daily fluctuation.
